Our first objective is “Life Changers”, our students will come from all walks of life and background, including mature learners, widening participation and minority groups; as we act as an agent of social change and opportunity. Our second objective is “Knowledge Creators”, our programmes will include work-integrated learning, enterprise, innovation and leadership, design and digital skills. Our third objective is “Tomorrow Makers”, our students will value their investment and be able to access graduate level work or other opportunities that enable them to make a significant contribution to our societies. Our fourth objective is “Boundary Breakers”, the university fosters a sense of pride amongst its staff, students, and alumni as it makes a real difference to the world in which we live through its research, innovation, and practice. Our fifth objective is “Learning Engagers”, our student experience will support and inspire students to engage themselves in their learning and help them co-create their learning journey. Lastly, our sixth objective is “Future Shapers”, we will realign our operating model to ensure that student centered activities are prioritised, and we will deliver consistent financial sustainability.
The success of the university cannot be achieved without students’ efforts, supports and contributions, please feel free to visit my office should you have any comments or suggestions for our university.
