新特蘭大學香港分校｜彈性教學模式 助學生平衡學業與生活 新特蘭大學香港分校提供在港修讀英國學制學士課程，而且每學期只需修讀兩個學科課程，讓學生達至學業與生活平衡。商業及管理（榮譽）學士畢業生高沛賢（Pete）先後於香港和加拿大就讀中學和大學，最後卻選擇回流，就讀新特蘭大學香港分校。他坦言因為學校的彈性教學模式，讓自己能夠良好地分配學習時間，成功走上嚮往的職途。 新特蘭大學的學習體驗較加拿大更具彈性 Pete在香港成長，就讀至中三後前往加拿大完成高中課程，並在加拿大大學主修政治學。然而，Pete坦言擔心完成政治學學位後，未能投身理想工作，再加上思念家人的關係，便於2018年毅然選擇回港，入讀新特蘭大學香港分校的商業及管理（榮譽）學士二年級。 回憶起自己在加拿大升學期間，Pete直言並不容易適應：「當地的教學模式以自學為主，但是對留學生的支援不足，所以不少同學笑言『入學容易畢業難』。」Pete透露自己看過不少浪費時間的案例：「有同學選擇每年只修讀一科，也有同學選擇延遲畢業一至兩年，所以同學間之關係比較疏離。」他透露在加拿大留學時，加幣匯率相當高，因此留學生的費用亦更昂貴，負擔只升不跌。 彈性教學模式有助平衡學業與生活 回流香港後，Pete選擇新特蘭大學香港分校，在港修讀英國學制學士課程，自由度是主要原因之一：「最重要當然是不用在異鄉上課，免卻思鄉的煩惱，可以抽更多時間陪伴家人。即使日後有興趣到英國升學，亦可以在第三年選擇到英國倫敦分校或新特蘭主校就讀，靈活彈性。」 Pete坦言英國與加拿大的教學有很大的差異：「每個學期教學時數適中，課餘時間和周末可以安排私人活動。新特蘭大學的課程以小班教學，沒有考試，大大減輕我的壓力。導師於每學科開始時便說明需要完成多少功課，方便學生安排時間。同時，大學提供很多學習支援，同學較容易向導師請教課程內容。」Pete補充道：「畢業證書是由英國新特蘭主校頒授，與英國畢業生無異，更具認受性。」 多元化活動擴闊學生眼界 在新特蘭大學香港分校的兩年，Pete參加過四川交流團，認識不同年級和專業朋友，又參與過迎新營，學習籌辦活動的流程和細節。不過，要數對他影響最深的，定必是在學期間的工作實習:「我從兼職和實習裡學習了很多書本以外的知識，亦有累積人脈，有助日後事業發展。其中在香港中華煤氣有限公司（Towngas）實習的經驗，更有助我申請到現時的工作！」現時Pete在Towngas擔任助理培訓主任，除了協助公司籌辦不同培訓活動、講座和工作坊外，亦與各個部門溝通培訓內容，跟進同事培訓後的感想，協助撰寫社交媒體的內容。 Pete於2023年已完成培訓及發展部門的管理證書課程。展望將來，他在公司的支持下，正考慮報讀碩士課程，同時亦成爲社區計劃「共創明天」的導師，積極參與社區活動。 英國三年制（榮譽）學士課程同樣具有認受性 新特蘭大學香港分校同時提供英國三年全日制（榮譽）學士學位課程，包括商業及管理（榮譽）學士（Reg. No. 252466），以及今年新增的商業及人力資源管理（榮譽）學士（Reg. No. 252649）和商業及市場管理（榮譽）學士（Reg.
